The Roarr Dinosaur Park - About an hour's drive, but any dinosaur loving child will adore this place - the site is huge and there are great outdoor play areas and enough winding, pushchair friendly paths through the park to delight and exhaust even the most energetic child

Bewilderwood - Another long-ish drive - but this is really a magic outdoor play area - in their words it is a "forest of family fun and outdoor adventure. Treehouses, Wobbly Wires, Slippery Slopes, Crocklebogs, Twiggles and Boggles"
