about us

Tucked away in is a gentle valley between Brancaster and Burnham Market, The White House is a hidden gem within easy reach of the wide open beaches of the North Norfolk Coast.

As soon as you enter you are met with an air of calm. The lush reception rooms have rich colours, huge velvet sofas, interesting and unique work by Norfolk Artists and light streaming in through huge windows.  Whether you book a room for the night or gather your friends and family and book a bespoke house party, the house is yours to enjoy. Light the fire, pour yourself a drink and put your feet up.

Each beautifully relaxing bedroom is individually decorated and has Nespresso coffee, Teapigs Teas and fresh milk. The bathrooms, many with freestanding baths, and all with rainshowers are stocked with divine English made 100 Acres products made in England with natural essential oils. Wake up, turn on your Roberts Radio if you can bear to let the wide world in to your retreat, and curl back up in your crisp white sheets with a hot cup of tea. There’s also a delectable breakfast spread, worth getting up for, a scrumptious choice of locally sourced, cooked breakfasts and a thoughtfully stocked Honesty Bar.

North Norfolk offers space, freedom and miles of beaches for children and dogs especially to run free. In our opinion, there is nothing that works better for creating headspace in a frantic world than a long walk along the North Norfolk Coast. Even on a wild winters day, it is somehow restorative - and even on the busiest summer holiday day, there is space to be found and room to unwind on the vast beaches and dunes of Thornham, Brancaster and Titchwell. Although, the summer crowds of bucket and spade and picnicking families is life affirming in the most positive way, sharing the joy of the simple pleases of the beach.

Remote, but accessible, we even offer Tesla and Electric Car charging points. The wifi is fast and free

The White House, set in between Brancaster and Burnham Market offers the blissful combination of wildlife, open space, ozone scented sea air, slow living and charming independent shops, gastro pubs and restaurants with owners who really care and who have pockets full of foodie awards. We call it space to breathe, room to relax.
